In the end of October, together with Clau we held a beginner-friendly crochet workshop in a small group, which made it easy for everyone to follow along and ask questions. Clau started by showing the basic techniques – how to hold the hook, make the first chain, and create simple stitches.
We also looked at different types of yarn and talked about what sets them apart, how they feel, and how to choose the right one for a project.
Participants practiced at their own pace, with Clau offering help whenever needed.
By the end, Clau introduced how to create a classic granny square, giving everyone a simple first project to continue with at home.
